Day 1: Today  I thought of what I wanted to do for my project and messed around to figure out what I wanted to make with the 3D printer.

Day 2: Today I worked on putting details on the controllers and I made the headset part

Day 3: Today I made sure my 3D model looked good and was ready to print. once that was done I sent the model to get printed.

Day 4: Today I worked on my web page for the project.

Day 5: Today I recorded my video, took pictures, and finished my webpage.

For this project, I plan on working by myself. Some materials I will need for this project are filament,  a 3D printer, a computer, and a 3D editing software. For This project, I plan on making a vr headset with controllers. One unique quality my project will have is lenses in it to "see" what you are doing. Another unique quality this print contains is controllers meant specifically for the left and right hand. One challenge I overcame was waiting until the last day to see my print and getting everything done on time. I overcame this by making sure I got anything and everything that is possible to be done at home so I don't have to worry as much about a bunch of other stuff to be done before the end of the hour. If I had the chance to do this again, one trait I would change is the size of the overall print. I would change this trait because when it printed it caused the buttons on the controllers to be very small and super delicate.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator.  My project relates to Innovative Designer. I think my project ties to Innovative Designer because I used the design process and I fixed/ changed anything I felt was wrong with the design and I kept making tweaks until I felt Te model was good.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School because I used a program to create a smaller version of a vr headset from scratch. My project connects to careers in Electronics Hardware Engineer because i made a model design of an Electronic device.
