Planning Questions

 By myself, I managed to create a 3D design using Tinkercad on a computer. The design I created was an Ice cream truck with an Ice cream man holding and an ice cream cone with a mustache and some sunglasses. Some unique qualities my project will have a definitely unique. One example is that my ice cream man has an ice cream cone and a steering wheel to drive the truck. Another quality This possesses is The doors and the top of the truck because I took a non-copyrighted file and Imported it into Tinkercad to create a unique front. Also, The doors on the truck are open so that you can see what it looks like inside of the truck from another angle. 

With just a computer and Tinkercad, I was able to have fun, experiment and create a 3D printed model because I put in effort and had the excitement to do it.

While creating The Design I learned how to import a 2D photo and change it to a compatible 3D Image. I Also learned  how to  Move and scale objects to the right proportion. Another thing I gained the ability to do is to Download and send stl. files when done.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. The project I created is related to Innovative Designer because I had to design an Ice cream truck that has multiple parts to it and actually looks like one too.

One challenge I faced was getting the parts to fit where I wanted them to fit. I had this problem because the parts did not move as smoothly as I wanted them too. How I overcame this was by resizing the parts, moving them slightly and then changing them back to their original size.

If I had the chance to redo the project, I would make it so that the wheels moved and that  the qr code would not be a strait rick roll and had to  go to a “ free Ice cream coupon’’ website first.I would make these changes because I think it would be very cool to have the uniqueness with those changes plus it would add more entertainment to the model.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to engineering design program because I had to use My brain and basic shapes to create a model. My project connects to modeling design careers because I had to model A Ice cream truck.
