While working on the Steam project, Me, Caleb,and Karley decided to make houses on Minecraft because we wanted to still play Minecraft whilst working on the STEAM project. During The process of working on the STEAM project, I learned that even though building a Minecraft house may seem easy, it actually may take help from friends even though they should've been working on their house. The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. What our project ties to is Innovative Designer because it involves designing houses from scratch. One of the challenges I overcame was the time limit we had to build. I was able to do this by hurrying up. If I had a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of time we had so I could put extra details into my work. Last, this project connects to careers in Engineering and Construction.
