My plan is to use the Sphero Minis.

Some unique qualities my project is I will be controlling the Sphero Minis and they will do what I make them do.

Today I started using the Sphero Minis and coded them to move in certain directions.

Day 2
Today I programed the Sphero Mini to complete a full circle.
The reason I have only 2 days is because my last project took longer than I thought.
Using Sphero Minis and my iPad, I created a circle path for the Sphero Mini because I wanted to learn how to use them. I programmed it to do a circle with coding blocks. I told it to move at a certain speed and angle. .
During this process, I learned how to use the Sphero Minis. I used my iPad to access the Sphero Edu app so I could control the Sphero Mini. I asked a friend how to use the app and I figured it out and got it to work.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I decided to use Sphero Edu to control the Sphero Mini. I asked my friend how to use and control the Sphero Mini. I successfully used the Sphero Mini and programmed it to complete a full circle.
A challenge I overcame on this project was programming the right angles for the Sphero Mini. I was able to do it by using trial and error. I tried certain angles and started the trial to see if it would work.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the path I had the Sphero Mini do. The reason why I would change it is because it was kind of a boring idea. I had to finish this project quick so ii came up with a circle path. It is harder than you think to create a circle path for the Sphero Mini to do.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. I used the programming app to control and code the Sphero Mini to do a path.
My project connects to careers in Computer Programmer because I programmed the Sphero Mini. You program computers to do certain things just like the Sphero Mini. I really liked this project because they were cool to control and move around.
