Using CoSpaces, I created my story on a merge cube because I wanted to make a monster apocalypse. I thought a story with a little bit of action would be cool. I really liked the idea of augmented reality.

During this process, I learned how to create a story on a merge cube and make it augmented reality. I also learned what merge cubes and augmented reality was. Once I got the hang of it it was really cool to do.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Leaner because I was determining if I was going to make my goal ( I decided to) and to decide if I made my goal. Also, I used an iPad to use the merge cube so I used my skills on two devices. (computer and iPad).

A challenge I overcame on this project was putting my builds in the right spot on the merge cube. I was able to do it by looking at older projects from old students and studying what they did. I then found out that I put the builds on each side of the cube.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way I solved my questions. The reason why I would change it is because I could've used my own resources instead of asking the teacher. Instead of asking the teacher and them telling me to look at other students work, I could've done that by myself.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Software Engineering.
