8P5 - CoSpaces Project

Using CoSpaces, I created a parkour course because I have seen people create them and I thought it would be fun making my own game. I had a lot of fun adding random obstacles and making the course harder. The entire project only took me 4 days to finish.

During this process, I learned how to create hard obstacles that are fun and challenging. I tested each level of my parkour course to make sure each part is actually possible. I created two whole parkour courses so there is two levels to make it more fun.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I acted safely on the internet and was carful. I also acted responsibly by using all  materials to get my project done. I followed rules on the internet and was respectful.

A challenge I overcame on this project was cresting a challenging course. I was able to do it by asking my friends to test my course and seeing if it was challenging and fun. I was successful in making my course challenging and fun.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way I made time for myself in class to test my whole course.. The reason why I would change it is because I was busy creating the course and filling out my daily log that I didn't have a whole ton of time to test my course. I had to test my whole course at home to make sure it was fully complete.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to digital multimedia because I was using multiple online resources to finish my project.

My project connects to careers in Video Game Designer because I designed and created my own game online. I created a fully functional parkour course. I used my own project and made it online safe.
