8P9 - Button Press

Using the button press, I created a button for my shirt because my friend did it and I thought it was a cool idea. I took my picture first and then I printed it. After I printed it I cut out a circle of my face and my deer. I then put it in the button press and my friend helped me finish the whole process.

During this process, I learned how to use the button press. I used it correctly and completed my project. It was a quick but fun project.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I asked my friend for help and gave him credit. I used the button press with my friend because he had already used it. I got it done in about five minutes.

A challenge I overcame on this project was using the button press. I was able to do it by asking a friend. My friend helped me through the whole process and I really liked this project. I wore the pin and it turned out exactly as I thought.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change nothing. The reason why I would change nothing about this project is because everything went perfectly fine. I printed my picture, I cut it out, and then I used the button press and completed my button. Everything worked fine and was efficient.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Construction Trades CTE program at Hastings High School. I constructed the button using the button press.  

My project connects to careers in Equipment Operator because I operated the button press (equipment). I operated the button press with help and finished my button. I would definitely do this project again.
