Button Measuring

Use the colorful buttons on the back to create a “button ruler” and measure objects around your home. Cut out each row of buttons and tape them together to make one long “button ruler” (do not cut out separate buttons).

Use the “button ruler” and count the buttons to

measure each object (e.g., the teddy

bear is 7 buttons tall and the pencil

is 6 buttons long). Try your best to

write down the numerals. Can you

measure yourself?
