Starting Thursday, September 3rd, meals will be made available to our eligible Hackensack Public School district students. Meals will be distributed from three locations which are:

• Jackson Elementary

• Middle School

• High School

Pick up hours are between the hours of 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Meals will be offered according to the district calendar, on instructional days only.

The Child Nutrition Program is mandating that we revert to the strict eligibility guidelines, thus only students eligible for free or reduced meals will receive a free meal. These students/parents must present their ID credentials.

Meals will be available on a daily basis, HOWEVER, parents wishing to pick up more than a day's meal at a time may do so. It is an accommodation that is a personal choice, depending on how much storage they may have in their home refrigerator.

Please reach out to your child's teacher if your family needs any additional food / meal planning support.
