Restorative Learning and Assessment
We are a team of professionals who believe all students can learn. We differentiate the instructional components of the curriculum that have been designed by GHS teachers in order to help students restore the credits they have not completed. We focus on standards that were missed or are currently incomplete.
Course Priority Standards
We work with the standards defined in each GHS course.
Major instructional Strategies
We work on practicing, teaching and reteaching skills and concepts foundational to each class offered at GHS. We work 1:1 with each student, and amplify their strengths. In addition to the post-instruction method, we also work with students while they are currently in a class. We can work 1:1 or with small groups. We support students who have missing assignments or misunderstandings. We are available hours 1-7 and during TSS. We are here to assist staff as well. If extra hands or sets of eyes are needed in a classroom for a project, to work with small groups or individuals, or for project space/assistance–we are here. If you have an idea for a way to use our service, please let us know. We are flexible and love trying new ways to help students succeed.
