Write encouraging notes to our community leaders (health care workers, fire department, police, pastors, government officials, grocery store workers, etc.).
Write encouraging notes or greeting cards to nursing home/care facilities who cannot have visitors (call the facility first to ensure they accept incoming paper).
Write to military or veterans.
Ask your faith-based leader (pastor) for addresses of shut-ins and write them letters.
Tutor a classmate/friend virtually.
Pick up litter.
Do yard work for a neighbor.
Check on an elderly neighbor and possibly run errands for them.
Take your band instrument to an elderly person’s home and play for them on their front porch or lawn.
Record yourself playing your musical instrument and share it with an elderly friend or family member.

Zooniverse.org is a website that allows people to volunteer their time to compiling/analyzing data online for various projects/experiments.
Volunteer for LibriVox.org, which provides free audiobooks of pubic domain works, read and recorded in all languages by volunteers.
