Personalized Learning Requirements
Personalized Learning Requirements are a state mandate for all students in order to earn a high school diploma. You will work on these starting as a 6th grader in Naviance with Tasks assigned to you, 8th grade with initially completing your Course Planner, take Career Academy as a 10th grader, and complete all assigned Tasks on Naviance throughout all years 6th through 12th grade. CRLE and resumes will be submitted in Naviance for credit.
12th graders: Please turn in all of your documents by May 1st. Login to Naviance to complete your requirements.
The following are required for graduation:
Two Career-Related Learning Experiences (CRLEs)
Read more here: What is a CRLE?
If you have completed the required GPHS Career Academy class, you have earned one CRLE from your job shadow experience.
You must complete and document a second CRLE sometime during 11th or 12th grade. If you would like to schedule a job shadow, click here to request one.
Make sure you properly document your second CRLE to receive credit for completing it by completing the survey in Naviance.
Resume
If you are considering going to college, including a trade school, create an Academic Resume. If you are looking to join the workforce, create an Employment Resume. Templates for both styles can be found here.
You can create your resume in Google Docs or Naviance and submit it here.
Assigned Tasks in Naviance
Each year, from 6th-12th grade, there are Tasks assigned to you in Naviance. All required tasks need to be completed to graduate.
Visit the Career Center in Room 138 if you have any questions or need help identifying a CRLE option or navigating Naviance.Â
Students who do not complete all the above requirements by May 1st may not be able to participate in the graduation ceremony.
