OSAC is Oregon's Office for Student Access and Completion. OSAC helps Oregon students pursue their career and college goals, including grants and scholarships to help pay for college.
Oregon Promise Grant
The Oregon Promise is a state grant that helps cover the tuition costs of any Oregon Community College. In 2023-24, awards ranged from $2,058 to $4,248 for full-time, full-year students. The application for 2024-2025 school year will be available mid-September 2023. Apply by submitting your FAFSA (or ORSAA) and the Oregon Promise application; find your deadline here.
Note: You must use these funds within 6 months of graduating high school.
Oregon Opportunity Grant
A need-based grant for Oregon students attending college. In 2023-24, students attending community college full-time could receive up to $3,900; students attending a 4-year college could receive $3,000 - $7,524. Apply by submitting your FAFSA or ORSAA as soon as possible.
OSAC Scholarships
OSAC administers over 600 scholarships, with varying eligibility criteria, with one single, free application. The application opens November 1 and is due March 1, with early bird incentives for submitting an error-free application by February 15.
