Raindrops: Big and Little
Lesson for the week of April 6th
Materials needed: Print out of the following: song raindrop page, at least one raindrop and one rainbow coloring page; if desired – word strips for sentence writing, communication of emotions, and vocabulary practice, comprehension question pictures, crayons/markers/colored pencils; any kind of rock you have at your house; small container for water; two wash cloths or sponges for matching wet, two hand towels or napkins to match dry; mister or spray bottle for creating “rain”; umbrella to practice the concepts of under and dry; four or five soft items – or one soft blanket, and lesson plan with instructions and song lyrics if desired.
