Only Grade 11 and 12 students may drop a course providing they have passed all grade 10 courses and are still carrying their required course load of credits.
A student who withdraws from a course within the allotted time will have no record of the course appear on his/her transcript.
Proper course selection is vital to high school success. Good course selection meets three criteria;
Academic Ability
Graduation Requirements
Post-Secondary Plans & Career Aspirations
Your Drumlin Heights Consolidated school counsellor meets with senior high students several times annually to ensure students are on the right path towards their graduation and career goals. As a student of DHCS, if you have questions about your courses, please read the course selection guide. If you still need help, book an appointment to see your school counsellor.
If your post-secondary plans or career aspirations have changed, please talk to your school counsellor to review all of your options.
