This past Saturday, September 21st, our U15 boys and girls basketball teams faced tough competition at SPH-LV, playing against both the host school and ACS Jakarta. Despite the challenging day, both teams demonstrated resilience and a strong competitive spirit.
The U15 boys, though defeated in both matches, showed significant improvement throughout the day. After a difficult first game against SPH-LV, where they struggled to find their rhythm, they rebounded with a much stronger performance against ACS Jakarta. The boys put up a competitive fight, keeping the game close and pushing their opponents until the final buzzer.
The U15 girls also faced tough opposition, losing both of their games. However, they delivered a particularly impressive performance against SPH-LV, keeping the game competitive from start to finish. Their effort, teamwork, and determination were evident.
As both teams prepare for their next matches against the Australian Independent School, they remain hopeful and determined to secure a victory on those matches. Let’s continue to support them as they work hard toward that goal!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 28th, as our Varsity Volleyball teams (boys and girls) take the court here at Global Jaya School, starting at 8 a.m. Both teams will face ACS Jakarta in what promises to be an exciting day of competition. After their recent efforts in practice, both teams are eager to achieve victory, and your support can make all the difference!
