Dear Global Jaya Community,
The month of October will be an important opportunity for Global Jaya to showcase the many events and positive activities taking place at our school. On October 2nd, we will have a limited ceremony to officially open our new field after nearly 6 months of work to install a running track and to upgrade the field to official football standards. Additionally, we look forward to welcoming over 225 participants to the upcoming Asia Pacific Regional IB Workshop taking place on our campus from October 18-20. These workshops allow a significant number of Global Jaya faculty members to participate in a two and half day workshop in either the MYP or PYP, further enhancing the professional knowledge and skills of our teachers. Additionally, by involving students in performances and serving as ushers during the weekend workshop, we have the opportunity to showcase the strength and positivity of the Global Jaya community.
Speaking of community, it was an awe inspiring experience to be part of the Jaya Longevity Awards ceremony on Friday, September 20, 2024. During the ceremony, several Global Jaya faculty members were recognized for their length of service and commitment to the school. Knowing that so many of our faculty members continue to remain connected to Global Jaya speaks to the sense of family fostered by the school and the hard work, dedication, and stability these individuals provide for our students.

I encourage our community members to review the Annual Report so that you appreciate the amount of effort and work that is required throughout the entirety of a school year. Additionally, please find here a link to the 2025-2026 academic year calendar for your planning purposes.

Our Parent Workshop on MindCraft attracted a large group of Primary and Secondary parents. We hope the discussion and activities shared during the workshop help you to support the goals of the school. For those parents unable to attend the Parent Workshop, below are links to the presentations.
With support from our STEM Club, Science Week was an opportunity for exciting experiments, creating interactive posters, wearing blue to support clean oceans, and dressing like Mad Scientists. Overall, we raised Rp 5,042,000 to donate to the EcoNusa Foundation.
