Hello Everyone!
In our recent Unit of Inquiry (UOI), "How We Organize Ourselves," we had an incredible time discovering all about communication. This unit was filled with fun activities, creative projects, and lots of learning. Here’s a peek into all the exciting things we did!
We started our adventure by creating a Timeline of Communication. We learned about how people have communicated over the years, from ancient symbols and letters to the latest technology like smartphones and social media. It was amazing to see how communication has changed and improved over time!
Next, we got to experience communication up close by writing our own letters. Each of us wrote letters and placed them in special mailboxes on every floor of our school. But that wasn’t all – we also took on the role of postmen! We delivered our letters to our classmates, just like real mail carriers. It was so much fun to see the excitement on everyone's faces when they received their letters.
Imagining the Future:
We didn’t just stop at the past and present. We also let our imaginations soar by thinking about what communication might look like in the future. We came up with all sorts of creative ideas – from futuristic gadgets to new ways of talking with each other. It was exciting to think about how communication might continue to change and grow.
We’re really proud of all the hard work and creativity that everyone put into this unit. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn, share, and imagine, and we can't wait for our next UOI adventure!
