Our new extended advisory unit explores communication skills to support community building.

We began by exploring non verbal communication and discussed positive, negative and interesting facets of this kind of interaction.

Students were given a picture that required them to consider what the actual situation was. They came up with lots of different assumptions. Students also worked together as a group to define their understanding of non-verbal communication.
