PRINCIPAL's CORNER

Greetings parents, students, teachers, and other members of the GJS community! We have just begun our third week of Term 2 and our fifth week of blended learning. We passed a bit of a milestone last week, when 10C became our first Advisory class to reach 100% approval to return to on-campus learning. There are many other Advisories, mostly in Year 10, which are not far behind. Overall in the Secondary school, we are approaching 75% approval for on-campus blended learning. These numbers signify the support and trust of our parents and we thank you for that.

The decision to return to campus remains a personal choice for every family, and while we are encouraged by the steadily increasing participation in on-campus blended learning, we also respect the decision of those families who have chosen to participate in blended learning from home. Our teachers have worked diligently to adapt and adjust their approaches to teaching to suit all of our students and they will continue to do so.
