DP Updates

Dear Parents,

Greetings.

Here are a few updates regarding the programme at the school.

We are helping our diploma students during the blended learning by providing enrichment time for skills and knowledge development.

Here are further details about the use of the enrichment time by the teachers and students.

• Only one assessment per day.

• These assessments should allow candidates to practice their skills and knowledge, not determine their term/semester end grades.

  • For example - Practice of Physics P1, conducting science IAs, orals for languages, etc.

• The teacher should conduct these assessments in person for the students who are on campus with prior information to the parents.

• Arrange the ETAs in such a way that all the students get the experience they need to write in-person assessments on campus

These are the upcoming deadlines for Year 12 students in October 2021.

• Oct 1 - Y12 Chemistry HL Unit test

• Oct 4 - English LL SL Mock IO ( online)

• Oct 5 - English LL SL Mock IO ( online) & HL - P1

• Oct 20 - Theatre HL - Solo Essay

• Oct 22 - Theatre Solo Portfolio ( Final)

• Oct 25 - Economics Micro IA & Visual Arts CS ( Final submission)

• Oct 29 - EE Complete draft submission & History IA Section A Final draft

Year 11: The DP office is helping the students to change their subjects/levels.

Here is the timeline.

• No request after November 8, 2021

• Subject change: 24 August - 6 October 2021 ( ends at 4 PM WIB)

• Level change: 24 August - 8 November 2021( ends at 4 PM WIB )
