Global Connect 2024: Bridging Paths to Your Future

From November 11 to 13, 2024, Global Connect 2024: Bridging Paths to Your Future successfully brought together students, parents, and alumni in an event designed to inspire and empower the next generation of global achievers. Held over three vibrant days, the program offered a wealth of opportunities for participants to explore higher education options, gain valuable insights, and connect with key resources to shape their futures.

A major event highlight was the university fair, featuring more than 80 representatives from prestigious institutions across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Attendees had the chance to engage directly with university admissions officers, learning about academic programs, application processes, and campus life in various countries. The event also included presentations on different countries' education systems, giving participants a comprehensive understanding of what it means to study abroad and how to navigate the complexities of each system.

Adding a unique touch to the program was a book talk with Ibu Dona Arsinta, who captivated the audience with insights from her latest work. Her session underscored the importance of personal growth and resilience in pursuing dreams. Complementing this was a dynamic career talk where alumni and parents shared their professional journeys, offering real-world advice and inspiration to students as they charted their paths.

Parents were also a central focus of Global Connect 2024, with a workshop led by Crimson, Ibu Iris Tan, providing guidance on how to support their children in early preparation for top university admission. From strategic planning for university applications to emotional encouragement, the session empowered parents to become active partners in their children’s success.

A session on scholarship opportunities, presented by representatives from the Ministry of Education and Culture, Ibu Ratna Prabandari, was another key component of the event. It provided information on funding options, emphasizing accessibility and equity in education.

As the event concluded, students expressed appreciation for the insights and connections. Global Connect 2024 was more than just an event; it was a platform that bridged gaps, opened doors, and set participants on the path to achieving their dreams.
