Hello my name is Aimee and my name is Kyung Eun from 4A. Today we will talk about YEAR 4 DISCOVERY DISASTER FAIR. On Wednesday, December 11th, Year 4 held an engaging Discovery Disaster Fair activity in the MPH building from 1:00 to 2:30 in the afternoon.
As part of our learning journey in the How the World Works unit, we explored fascinating features of the Earth, various types of natural disasters, and ways to prepare for these events. To showcase what we had learned, my classmates and I created detailed dioramas and informative brochures based on our chosen topics.
The dioramas depicted the effects and impact of different natural disasters on humans and the environment, while the brochures provided concise and accessible information to our visitors. These visitors included students from Grades 3, 5, and 6, as well as parents of year 4 students. The brochures aimed to educate us about different types of disasters and share safety tips for preparedness. We were very careful working on our dioramas and brochures, all our friends did an amazing job and they did it seriously.
We felt excited and proud to share our knowledge, which we had developed over several weeks of research, with the visitors—especially our parents, who showed great support during the event. This experience was invaluable for us, as it allowed us to demonstrate our skills in research, critical thinking, and effective communication.
We sincerely thank all the visitors who attended, supported, and gave us constructive feedback. Your encouragement motivated us to keep learning and growing.
Thank You For Listening To Us!!!!!
