Dear Global Jaya Community, 

The end of the semester is an important opportunity to take stock in where we are as a school and to express gratitude to everyone for their contribution to our community. Our success as a community results from everyone’s contribution, big and small, to our school. More importantly, it is a real privilege to engage with caring, dedicated, talented and supportive students, faculty and parents. At all times throughout my one and a half years at Global Jaya, I have been made to feel welcome and valued, knowing my efforts have had a positive effect on making meaningful and lasting contributions to our community. 

Additionally, with the three week break ahead of us, please take time to rest and rejuvenate during the next three weeks, and connect with each other as a family. Semester two will be here before you know it, and it too will be a busy time for everyone. Merry Christmas to those of you who celebrate and happy holidays to all. If you are traveling, I wish you a safe journey and an equally safe return. I look forward to seeing our students back on campus on January 6, 2025. Until then, may your days be merry and your hearts be full.

Finally, please be aware of several important upcoming events when we return to school on Monday, January 6, 2025. 

We hope everyone can join us for our next Parent Coffee taking place on Tuesday, January 7 at 8:00 am in the MPH. Our counseling team will be leading this session focused on Social Emotional Counseling and University Counseling. We hope to see you there!

A Year 6 Transition meeting will take place on January 8 with Year 5 and 4 parents to discuss plans underway to move the Year 6 students to the Secondary division.
