As we come to the end of this academic year I am delighted by everything we have achieved. The various experiences that they have had, both inside and outside the classroom, have significantly contributed to their development. I am delighted that our students are ready, excited and looking forward to next year.
We would like to extend our heartiest congratulations to each and every member of our graduating Year 6 class. We commend them for their passion, dedication, perseverance, and accomplishments throughout their journey in the Primary School. Having successfully completed their primary education, they are now ready to embark upon the next chapter of their academic pursuits. We wish them continued success in their future endeavors. Congratulations once again on this significant milestone.
I would also like to say a big thank you to all our incredible staff who have worked tirelessly and
diligently throughout the year to provide outstanding education and experiences to all of our students. We also have some members of our staff who will be moving on from Global Jaya and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
Finally, thank you to all the parents, guardians, and community members for your unwavering support. Your involvement and encouragement have made a significant difference in our students' lives. Together, we have created a school community that is truly special.
I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing summer break and I look forward to welcoming you and your children back in the new academic year.

Summer Reading Program
We are excited to share the Global Jaya School Summer Reading Challenge! This program is designed to keep your reading skills sharp while having fun throughout the summer break. We encourage students to explore different genre and track their progress by noting the book titles they read on the Google form. Here is the Summer Reading slides. Complete the task to earn house points and receive special recognition at our August Assembly.
Battle of the Books Challenge in September
Before Summer starts we would like to challenge students in both Lower and Upper Primary to read from a range of books. There will be a mini Book Battle competition at school after the summer break. Please note that this is separate from the Summer Reading Challenge.
Your Goal: over the summer break, read from the English and/or Bahasa list of selected books. You may communicate with a group of readers. You may create teams of up to 4 students.
After Summer: We will hold a “Battle of the Books” quiz event in the Library or MPR at the end of August (TBD).
Teams: Students form teams and compete by answering comprehension and trivia questions about the books. We will use Blooket as our quiz platform using quiz questions from the book list provided.
Prep: Each team must divide the books among themselves to ensure coverage. Or read all of them to
Twist: A “Book Defenders” round will be included where students explain why one of the books should win “Best Book of the Summer.”
