Dear Parents,
As we return from the semester break, our commitment to raising student achievement remains stronger than ever. This dedication is evident in our recent review of i-Ready scores and ongoing teacher discussions. Analyzing the data was a truly celebratory moment, as we noticed the significant growth our students have made. In the areas of Literacy and Math, our students have made leaps of progress. Their progress is a testament to students’ and teachers' hard work, and perseverance. This also informs us that our strategies are working and being used in the right way. We hope you take a moment to celebrate your child’s achievements as much as we do!
Celebrating Our Year 6 PYP Exhibition
We also want to recognize our Year 6 students, who are hard at work on their PYP Exhibition—the culminating experience of their inquiry-based learning journey in the Primary Years. As they explore real-world issues through their passion projects, they have demonstrated exceptional research skills, critical thinking, and creativity in presenting thoughtful recommendations. Please join us for the PYPX on Wednesday and Thursday, February 19 and 20, from 9:35 am onwards.
Mid-Semester Conferences
We are pleased to announce that our Mid-Semester Conferences will take place on March 20 and 21. Sign-ups will be available via ManageBac starting February 14. This year, we encourage you to take the opportunity to visit your child’s music and art teachers, where your child can proudly demonstrate the skills they are developing in class. Year 1 and 2 students will showcase their learning in their classrooms, while Year 3-6 students will present in the music room.
We look forward to seeing you there!
