Hello everyone! My name is Ayla, and My name is Olivia from 6B. We are going to be looking back at our Exhibition. What is the PYPX? The PYPX is a way to express topics and passions. Our show had two parts. We had an online and face-to-face presentation.
The Exhibition was also separated into transdisciplinary themes. The production was done by doing things in gradual steps. We did this by using documentation in slides, with each slide being a step leading us to the next. In the Exhibition's process, we rehearsed both our presentations and our introduction, which is based on the traditional songs of Kalimantan. In making the introduction, we had to perfect our sync, rhythm, and timing, which was challenging but fun during the practice. Each student was in groups to visit the right mentor based on their topics. The mentors helped us with our unfinished steps in the process and gave tips on improving our project.Â
In the online Exhibition, a group of students would present within the same time limit of 20 minutes in different calls. Students, teachers, and parents from other schools can visit the calls and see presentations from the global website.
Each student also had to choose a type of product they wanted to create for their face-to-face exhibition. Most students chose 3D models for the offline presentation because it is more visually appealing, and other students can interact physically with the model. Some other students chose video/animation. It is where they create a video based on their topic and explain the contents of it clearly. Lots of students came up with creative ideas and presentation styles for their Exhibition.
How we felt during this Exhibition was nervous and scared, but It was enjoyable for us overall. Most students found the Music practice very joyful and entertaining because we got to play with our group members and could practice together. When we were on stage, we felt very shy and nervous. But in the end, we remembered to be confident! So, it all turned out to be a success, and there was no failure or mistakes. During the Exhibition process, when we were still planning our personal goals, most people found the sessions boring. Still, when we started getting into it in January, many people found it their favorite sessions, creating happiness and overall success in our learning journey!
