Dear Parents and Students,
It seems like it was just yesterday when we started the year of 2023 and now we are already at the end of February. We are only less than three weeks away from the end of Term 3!
We express our deep gratitude that thus far, both the curriculum and school program have been executed seamlessly as intended. February has traditionally been a hectic month, during which several significant events were conducted. For the first time since the onset of the pandemic, we were able to resume parent invitations to the assemblies on-site fieldtrips, guest speaker sessions, year level mini expos, unannounced emergency drills, swimming carnivals, Year 5 MUN, and the most recent event - Year 6 PYP Exhibition. You may also read about several other activities on the year-level page of this Kontak edition, along with some upcoming events such as camps, parent workshops, and more.
It is evident that our primary students and teachers are striving relentlessly to uphold and embody the school's vision and mission statements.
Coming up next in our school calendar is the Mid-Semester Conference (MSC). It is going to be held on the 16th and 17th March. MSC is a celebration of student’s learning. During MSC, Primary students will lead a conference to their parents and inform them of their learning journey. Parents, students, and teachers will also have the opportunity to sit together to discuss and reflect on student achievement and set future goals. Please ensure that you have booked your time to attend this very important event. If you haven’t done so, please contact Ibu Imas, our Primary Administrative Assistant.
We would also like to use this opportunity to share with you a great news from our environment committee. Our school were just acknowledged as one of Adiwiyata Schools (eco-friendly school) for the Tangerang Selatan City level. This boost our enthusiasm as we continue our commitment to becoming an environmentally friendly school and prepare to get the province level acknowledgement.
As school principals, we take immense pride in the level of dedication and hard work exhibited by our students in their pursuit of knowledge. Their unwavering enthusiasm and positivity, evident from the cheerful smiles they greet us with each morning, their persistent efforts to excel, and even the anecdotes they share with us, are the hallmarks that set our school community apart. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who have made us feel that we have the most rewarding job in the world!
