During the PYP Exhibition Days, the Year 6 students presented their chosen topic to the PYP Exhibition Day's visitors to raise awareness of their topic. Since the Exhibition, the Year 6 students have been continuing with the next step of the process, which is to encourage people to take action on their chosen issues. During the UOI 4, under the trans theme of Where We Are in Place and Time, the Year 6 students implemented the Design Cycle process, where they reviewed the presentation and the products they created for the Exhibition. Based on the students' feedback from their peers and teachers, students made improvements to their presentation and products.
The improved presentation and products will then become part of an action plan that the students create for the next step of the process. In this action plan, students organize several activities with the goal of encouraging the Global Jaya community members to take action on their chosen issue. The action plan will also make it possible for the students to provide goods and/or services to the Global Jaya community members as part of implementing what they have learned during lessons on social entrepreneurship within the UOI 5 unit, under the trans theme of How We Organize Ourselves.
