All documentary recommendations and YouTube channel links are links we as teachers would use in our lessons. However, there is a wide range of different topics on these sites so please check before watching to make sure every video is appropriate.

The Peekaboo YouTube channel has lots of interesting and educational videos on a range of topics. There are also very short quizzes based on the video.

The Ted Ed YouTube channel has a huge range of different talks on a range of different topics. There is also a Ted Ed student page as well as young adult videos.

The 'In a Nutshell Channel' has some fantastic informative videos on a range of different topics. Some of these can be a little advanced but still great!

Grown to cook is a YouTube channel from the Netherlands dedicated to showing you how to grow fruit and vegetables in your own garden and then cook them!

Minute Earth is a great YouTube channel with a range of different topics about our Earth.

Minute Physics is a YouTube channel with a range of videos linked to physics and science.

The Wildlife watch has a whole YouTube channel dedicated to nature and wildlife that you may see in your back garden or out on a walk.

Assistant directors support directors by organising and planning everything on TV or film sets.
