Your University NetID is your username for all Georgetown systems.
You should have received a letter from the Admissions Office containing your NetID. It was sent by postal mail to the address on your application.
Your temporary default password is a lowercase gu, followed by the last six digits of your 9-digit University GUID, i.e., gu456789.
To change your password, please visit the Georgetown NetID Password Management System webpage, located at https://password.georgetown.edu.
Your GOCard functions as your campus identification, access, and debit card. (Your 9-digit University GUID can be found on your GOCard.)

The University uses the Georgetown Google Apps for Education (GAE) email system, commonly referred to as GU Mail. Your GU Mail address is YourNetID@georgetown.edu.

All Georgetown University community members can download Symantec Endpoint Protection and Microsoft Office 365 software free of charge. The University has both the PC version and the Mac version.

Students have access to a number of file storage and backup options, which we recommend subscribing to to ensure that you're able to share files easily and prevent yourself from losing access to your files if your laptop is acting up.
