So, you’re interested in hosting an event at GHD? Before we get started, please take a moment to consider the following questions:
How many GHD community members will benefit from this event?
Is this type of event already offered elsewhere in the Georgetown community?
If this event is not already offered at Georgetown, could GHD collaborate with or outsource this event to another department or center?
If you're confident this event would benefit the GHD community and that it should be hosted (or co-hosted) by GHD, these resources are intended to help you understand the overall process and details involved in planning a successful event.
Once you've read through the GHD Event Planning Guide and have an idea of what your event will look like, when and where you want to hold it, and who will be there, please fill out the GHD Event Planning Form to let our team know. We will review your request and get back to you in 2-3 business days. Please submit requests at least 3-4 weeks in advance of your proposed event date to allow sufficient time to prepare for and promote the event.
