All incoming students are required to have taken introductory microeconomics, macroeconomics, and statistics before starting the fall semester. For those of you that have not yet taken these courses, you can find suggestions on how you can do so and fulfill the requirements during the next few months here.
Once you have completed the prerequisite courses, please complete this form and email any supporting documentation (transcripts, completion certificates, etc.) to Prof. Charlie Udomsaph at ccu@georgetown.edu, or Kristen Robinson, Associate Director of Academic Programs, at keb65@georgetown.edu.
In August, you will be required to take a quantitative assessment that will place you into the appropriate section of GHDP 5003 (Quantitative Methods), so, regardless of whether or not you have taken economics and statistics courses before, it doesn't hurt to take a refresher course! We'll be in touch in the summer with the date and time of your quantitative assessment, but it is typically held on the Monday prior to the start of classes.
Don't hesitate to reach out to Kristen Robinson, Associate Director of Academic Programs, at keb65@georgetown.edu if you have any questions!
