(MGRPR12)
Much like Yearbook 11, students in this course assume the responsibility of learning and applying the necessary skills to produce the school yearbook. Students in Yearbook 12 will continue to build knowledge, experience, and skills in digital photography, desktop publishing, and business management, and are expected to assume leadership roles in the production of the book, including making design choices, delegating responsibilities, organizing team activities, and making budgetary decisions including future financial planning and technology purchases. Strong writing skills, computer skills, and leadership are highly recommended.
NOTE: Yearbook is a linear course which runs outside of the timetable after school 2-3 days per week and requires attendance at school events before, during, or after school, which may involve leaving other classes to take photos. This course is an additional 9th course and the workload should not be taken lightly; it is advised that students wishing to take yearbook have strong academic standing and work ethic in order to complete the work required outside of regular school hours and to make up for missed class time due to covering events for the yearbook.
