Class Of 2020 Celebrates Junior Ring Dance

Fundraising Editor Summer Smith

The Class of 2020’s Junior Ring Dance was held on Saturday, April 27th at Gloucester High School. The theme for this year’s dance was “ Northern Lights.” The dance started at 7 p.m. and went on until 10 p.m., where students danced and had fun.

Prior to the dance, tickets went on sale April 22nd. They were on sale throughout all lunches, $15 for a single ticket and $25 for a couple. However, if a student purchased their ring through Jostens, their ticket cost was covered by Jostens. This helped save money for many students, who didn’t have to worry about the purchase of their ticket if they purchased there ring through Jostens.

A key accessory when attending a dance is corsages and boutonnieres. A student could purchase these through the FFA at the High School as well. It saved time and a couple dollars for students as well. To purchase these the student had to either contact Mrs. Hypes in C150, or any FFA member to place their orders. The Corsages were $10 and boutonnieres were $5.

The “ Northern Lights” Junior Ring Dance will be held on Saturday, April 27th from 7:00-10:00.

The tickets will be on sale starting the 22nd, during all lunches, at $15.00 for a single and $25.00 for a couple. The cost of the ticket will be covered for those who purchased rings through Jostens.

FFA is selling corsages and boutonnieres for Ring Dance. Contact Mrs. Hypes in C150 or any FFA member to place your order. Corsages are $10 and boutonnieres are $5.
