With the coronavirus getting worse each day, and people's health is getting worse too. Some people who get the coronavirus get physically sick. Other people haven't got sick but covid-19 is still affecting them in a different way. Most people don’t think of people's mental health though. The coronavirus is making an impact on people's mental help, especially health workers and children.

The World Health Organization has warned that the Coronavirus crisis and the restrictive measures that many countries are taking to contain the outbreak can have a negative impact on people’s mental health and well-being. Having to stay in peoples houses and having to social distancing themselves is affecting people’s mental health. Nobody is used to all of this because nothing like this has ever happened.

Most states have extended their schools to be closed till May or April for right now. The schools that have closed for the rest of the year as of right now are Kansas and Virginia. Every student is now doing online school. Most students don’t like online school. It is more hard doing online school because you can’t ask a teacher right then a question. Even though this is hard some students understand it though. Ashlynn Setterholm stated “I think the schools shutting down is understandable because they don’t want the virus to spread. But, it’s also inconvenient for a lot of other students like the seniors, who have to miss prom.” She thinks it is understandable but inconvenient. This affects a lot of students especially the seniors like she said. However this does not only affect seniors, it also affects the juniors. They are trying to find a college and get everything done to get in and then this virus comes and messes that up. Which makes that a lot harder. Students are also missing being able to hang out with their friends. “The thing I miss the most is talking to friends and my teachers” stated Ashlynn Setterholm.

The coronavirus is affecting people more than you may think.
