Hidden Game found on Canvas

Through an accidental mishap, two secret games on Canvas were discovered

It’s no secret, sometimes Canvas can be a bummer. From technical problems to dreaded assignments, many students find it a chore to even think about online school. However, a secret on Canvas was found.

I once left a broken page open before going to lunch, one with the infamous astronaut and mars, accompanied by the words “Error 404”. When the student had gotten back from lunch, they had clicked the space button to wake up their computer. Unknowingly, they had started a canvas game.

When you start the game, you get two options for a potential game. Both options can be changed by hitting the refresh button a few times. The first game is a classic fighter-jet style. You play as a fighter jet with the classic WASD controls, or arrow keys. You can press space, and you shoot needles at your oncoming enemies -- the COVID-19 virus. As you play, you can collect toilet paper for a brief power up, which increases the number of needles you shoot. The game has no ending that is known of yet.

The second game you can get to is a very old looking style game. You play as a blue square, faced with a very long pathway. You must make your way down the path-way, while dodging on-coming gray squares. Out of the two games, this one is the hardest.

The only problem with these games is that you need to find an error 404 page on your own. This is tricky, and it is caused when a teacher posts a link to a page on canvas that you can’t get to. However, you need not fear. Here is a link to an error 404 page, that is currently still working, so you can try it out yourself:
