“We were very well prepared and we weren’t surprised at what they threw at us. The intensity of the team let us hit a whole other gear when the team knew it was closing up. We had a couple alignment issues and a player who’ve only been playing a position for two days, and we need to tackle better. Just making sure to line up properly and coverages that’ll help out in the long run.” said Coach Butler.

“The Dukes won the opening toss and deferred to the second half, stonewalling the home hurricanes on the opening play of the game when linebacker Adam Eckstien blew up an inside run. Though heritage would get down to the goal line, they were turned away by the Dukes defense” said Peter J. Teagle.
