The Bohemian Club located in Monte Rio typically hires high school and college students for their spring "Jinks" and "Midsummer Encampment" sessions happening in June and July.

Example available positions: valet parking attendant, baggage crew, security, dishwashers, servers

They will work with students needing to carpool with other employees.

City of Cotati Recreation Leader

The City of Cotati hires Recreation Leader positions that primarily works in summer camp as a counselor and also offer other hours at our special events and during school year break camps. This position is part-time and starts at $16/hr. Ages 15 & up.

Cool School

Opportunity for Graduating Seniors!

COOL School After School program. COOL School is located at 7 elementary school sites in Southwest Santa Rosa. We are currently starting our recruitment for Fall 2023 for both full time and part time positions. 

 

Our After School program is an extension of the school day, providing students with a structured afternoon. Students come to us directly after school where they receive a snack, recess time, homework support, and enrichment activities. We provide staff with all training necessary to run a classroom of about 20 students. Our starting pay for the Fall is $18-20/hour based on experience. We ask that staff is available Mon, Tues, Thurs, & Fri from 1:45-6:00 and Wednesday's 12:00-6:00, making this a part time position. 

 

We are currently offering full-time Americorps positions working with students in small groups focusing on tutoring elementary students in literacy and in math. This opportunity provides students with a $2,000 monthly living stipend and a $10,000 educational scholarship upon the completion of the 10-month service term. Full time hours are generally 8:00-6:00, Monday thru Friday.

They have three service-based programs for students after high school. Most include living allowances of up to $2200/month and option to earn money toward college (loans or future tuition--up to $10,000/year) to use toward future training/schooling.
