Who was Gene Polisseni?
Gene Polisseni was a businessman and philanthropist who was also a big sports fan. Gene Polisseni was the vice president of Paychex, the company founded by B. Thomas Golisano, until he passed away in 2001. Gene Polisseni founded the Polisseni Foundation, a foundation that provides support across the Rochester region. The building was donated by Mr. Polisseni's friend, B. Thomas Golisano, after Mr. Polisseni's passing.
