Thomas Gosnell was the mayor of London, Ontario, Canada, from December 1, 1986, to December 1, 1994. He also served as a member of the RIT board of trustees, starting in 1977, and serving as chairman from 1987 to 1992. Gosnell's great grandfather, Ezra Andrews, was a founding trustee of one of RIT's predecessors, the mechanics institute.Â
