Overview
For the 2025–26 school year, there will be one (1) Exchange Day for a total of 6 hours.
Accrual window is May 27, 2025 - May 8, 2026.
All staff members on a contract of 216 days or fewer are required to complete professional development to earn Exchange Day credit.
Professional learning activities that are already compensated—through a stipend, release time, or other means—cannot be used for Exchange Day credit.
All forms must be submitted in Eduphoria Formspace by May 8, 2026.

In-District PD (Hays CISD)
Register for sessions in Eduphoria Strive and be sure to sign in at each session to receive CPE credit.
All Hays CISD summer PD sessions are eligible for Exchange Day credit from May 27 – July 31, 2025.
Outside PD
Staff members who attend external PD and want it recorded in their portfolio must also request credit in Eduphoria Strive.
Eligible PD Window
PD completed between May 27, 2025 and May 8, 2026, will count for Exchange Day credit.

Each staff member fulfilling the Exchange Day requirement must submit one Exchange Day Form in Eduphoria Formspace after completing the required hours.

Please wait until your PD is complete before submitting your documentation.
Once logged into Formspace, you will select submit new form in the bottom left hand corner.
Click on the Professional Development tab
Select the 2025-2026 Exchange Day form – Read through and complete the form. Please make sure to upload the certificates of completion for all PD attended to receive full credit.
Approval Process
After submitting your documentation in Eduphoria Formspace, your campus administrator will review and approve it.
Once approved, it will be sent to the Professional Development Director for final approval.
Please be patient as we work through the approval process.
Safe Schools Credit
Safe Schools Credit
Safe Schools modules can count for ½ day of Exchange Day credit when completed outside of contract days or hours.
You may use the test-out option or complete the full module to earn credit for your time.
August 13, 2025, is the deadline for The Standard Response Protocol (SRP) module.
December 31, 2025, is the deadline for completing Safe Schools training in accordance with district policy.
Safe Schools training must be completed by December 31, 2025, in accordance with district policy. However, the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) module, is due by August 13, 2025.
