Behavior
The highlighted self-paced courses recommended below are based on behavior and are designed to provide additional support and practical strategies for strengthening classroom practices. Behavior work focuses on aligning expectations, using proactive management strategies, analyzing behavior data, and collaborating on routines, reinforcement, and interventions that support all learners.
This course examines how understanding the emotional cycle behind behavior can transform classroom interactions. Drawing on Dr. Geoff Colvin’s work, it highlights the beginning, middle, and end of what he calls the “cycle” of emotions that everyone experiences. During this session, participants will identify the different parts of the cycle and explore effective de-escalation strategies for each stage to foster positive outcomes and support a productive learning environment.
