If you’ve ever sat through a behavior training and thought, “This sounds great, but it won’t work with my kids,” this conference is for you.
We’re partnering with the Bureau of Education and Research (BER)—a nationally recognized provider known for practical, classroom-tested professional development—to bring meaningful, research-based strategies to our June 4 Behavior by Design conference. These aren’t vague theories or unrealistic expectations. The sessions are designed to give you concrete tools you can use immediately, with real examples from real classrooms.
You’ll walk away with strategies that help reduce daily stress, prevent escalation before it starts, and create more consistent systems that actually support you—not add more to your plate. If behavior has felt overwhelming or unpredictable, this day is about equipping you with approaches that work in today’s classrooms.

All sessions are Exchange Day eligible. Attending half day = 3 hours credit and full day =6 hours credit

Lehman High School will be hosting the Behavior By Design Conference in their brand-new auditorium. We are grateful to use this beautiful facility and ask all attendees to help us keep the space clean and well cared for.
Food & Drinks
Please refrain from bringing outside food or beverages into the auditorium.
Coffee & Water Drop-Off
We understand many guests may want coffee or water available throughout the day. A beverage table will be located just outside the auditorium where you may temporarily place your drink before entering. You can easily pick it up as you head to your first session.
Labeling Your Container
To help keep items organized, we encourage you to bring your beverage container pre-labeled or label it when you arrive. Containers will be arranged alphabetically for easy pickup.

Parking is available in front of the new LHS Auditorium, and you may enter the main building through that entrance.
Additional parking is available behind the campus in the teacher parking lot.

A digital sign-in will be required for each session, including the keynote
