ESL Academy: TExES ESL Supplemental #154 Exam Prep
This three-session series of the ESL Academy will review the requirements and objectives covered on the TExES ESL Supplemental #154 Exam. Participants will explore the test framework, learn effective testing strategies, review key vocabulary and concepts, and practice sample test questions.
This in-person workshop meets for two hours on each of the following dates:
October 21: 5:00 - 7:00 PM
October 23: 5:00 - 7:00 PM
October 28: 5:00 - 7:00 PM

The exam is a computer-administered test (CAT) with 80 selected-response questions. Total appointment time is 5 hours, including a 15-minute tutorial and 4 hours 45 minutes of testing.
Exam Dates: By appointment, year-round (first-come, first-served)
Exam Sites: Available at Texas and nationwide CAT centers
Passing Score: 240
Exam Fee: $116 (additional fees may apply)
Score Reporting: Scores are available at 10:00 PM Central Time on the report dates
Participants must agree to all program rules and policies at registration.

Bilingual Target Language Proficiency Test (BTLPT 190) Prep
This course is designed to provide strategies, supports, and practical tips for the bilingual classroom. Participants will engage in learning and professional growth to better support emergent bilingual students. With over one million emergent bilingual students in Texas—most of whom are Spanish-speaking—every teacher can consider themselves a language educator. The course also prepares teachers for the Bilingual Target Language Proficiency Test (BTLPT 190) and supports their path to Bilingual Certification.
This virtual workshop has two-day meeting options or a one-day meeting option on each of the following dates:
September 23: 4:00 - 7:00 PM & September 25: 4:00 - 7:30 PM
October 4: 9:00 - 4:30 PM
October 7: 4:00 - 7:00 PM & October 9: 4:00 - 7:30 PM
