STANDARD MATH
In math this week, students will use the mean, absolute mean deviation, median, quartiles, and interquartile ranges to compare and contrast data sets.
ACCELERATED MATH
In accelerated math this week, students will calculate the mean, absolute mean deviation, median, quartiles, and interquartile ranges. They will create box plots to compare and contrast data sets.
LANGUAGE ARTS
In language arts this week, students will analyze the characteristics and structure of an informational text, make inferences about key ideas, and research and write a speech about storytelling.
SCIENCE
In science this week, students will explain the interaction of gravity and inertia that governs the motion of objects in the solar system.
SOCIAL STUDIES
In social studies this week, students will locate Australia's physical features on world and regional political-physical maps and explain the impact of British discrimination on Aboriginal culture and lifestyle in the 20th century.
