• STANDARD MATH

In math this week, students will complete tasks using a coordinate plane. 

• ACCELERATED MATH

In accelerated math this week,  students will read and write expressions using variables to represent real world scenarios and evaluate the expressions. The unit common assessment will tentatively be on Thursday. 

• LANGUAGE ARTS 

In language arts this week, students will introduce a claim and support it with reasons. 

• SCIENCE

In science this week, students will ask questions to determine how renewable and nonrenewable resources our used in our everyday lives. The unit common assessment will tentatively be Friday. 

• SOCIAL STUDIES

In social studies this week, students will review each unit from the beginning on the year until now to prepare for the final exam.

• The winter months are upon us, which comes with increased illnesses. How do I know if my child can come to school? If your student has symptoms of an illness that are not caused by something else, stay home and avoid contact with others. Symptoms may include fever, chills, fatigue, cough, runny nose, and headache. Students can resume their normal activities when they meet both of these criteria for at least 24 hours: Their symptoms are getting better overall, AND they have not had a fever (and are not using fever-reducing medication).
