STANDARD MATH
In math this week, students will analyze a set of statistical data.
ACCELERATED MATH
In accelerated math this week, students will describe the distribution of a quantitative variable collected, including its center (i.e., median, mean), variability (i.e., interquartile range, mean absolute deviation, and range), and overall shape (e.g., symmetrical, non-symmetrical, peak, cluster, gap, skew).
LANGUAGE ARTS
In language arts this week, students will write informative/explanatory texts to examine a topic and convey ideas, concepts, and information through the selection, organization, and analysis of relevant content.
SCIENCE
In science this week, students will construct an explanation of the positions of the sun, Earth, and moon during solar and lunar eclipses and analyze the tilt of the Earth's impact on seasons. The unit test will be tentatively on Friday.
SOCIAL STUDIES
In social studies this week, students will explain how specialization in Latin America encourages trade with other countries. The unit test will be tentatively on Friday.
