STANDARD MATH

In math this week, students will write and evaluate numerical expressions when given the value of the variables.

ACCELERATED MATH

In accelerated math this week, students will construct algebraic equations to solve problems.

LANGUAGE ARTS

In language arts this week, students will analyze text structure and point of view.

SCIENCE

In science this week, students will plan and carry out an investigations to determine the chemical and physical properties of ocean water.

SOCIAL STUDIES

In social studies this week, students will describe the different economic systems of Canada.

January 30 - Science Fair, 6:00 - 7:30 PM in the Media Center (Rescheduled Date)
February 7 - Regular School Day (This is a change from the originally scheduled Digital Learning Day.)

Ms. Bell's Briefings

Greetings Comet Families,

Last week was certainly an eventful week. We honored the late Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday with a national holiday followed by three consecutive digital learning days due to inclement weather. It felt like a miniature winter break. Friday, students and staff returned refreshed and ready for high levels of teaching and learning. Thank you for your flexibility over the past week.

Because of our missed days, there have been some shifts in the calendar. Please see the important dates to remember above.
