Principal's Message

I hope you all had a wonderful Spring Break!  It's hard to believe that summer will be here before we know it.  SBAC testing has started or will be starting very soon for 3-6th grade students.  Teacher and Staff Appreciation week will be celebrated the week of May 8th and Open House will take place in person on May 23rd at 6:00 p.m. The next few weeks will surely fly by!

Student Conflicts

Parents, we understand that your child is the most important person in your life.  If there is a conflict between your child and another, please inform your child's teacher.  The first step should really be your child telling their teacher so that the information is current and can be handled as quickly as possible.   Teachers will investigate and work with the students involved. If teachers wish to involve the principal or the behavior is repeated, students will work with me, Mrs. White.   Please do not circumvent the process and handle issues on your own.  Parents should NEVER speak to other students directly without their parents present.   Teachers will NOT provide information about other students other than your own.  Please remember that children are learning how to behave and navigate disagreements and we will handle the resolution, consequences and communication with other parents.

Student Drop Off

It has been reported that parents are parking across the street along the construction site fence to drop off their child at school.  This is VERY unsafe.  There is NO parking across the street on Wisdom Road.  Please do not send your child(ren) to cross the street.  Cars are driving very fast.  Please enter the parking loop making a right turn only coming from Grimmer. Thank you for keeping your child and others safe.

Kids Against Hunger

Thank you all for your support of our first Kids Against Hunger Packing Event last week.  We hope this will become an annual tradition.  Please take a look at the video created for us.
